A. Complete the sentences with the correct connectives.
Ø SO and THEREFORE are used to express the result of the statement before.
CAUSE --------> RESULT
EX: It started to rain, so we stopped playing tennis.

Ø BECAUSE is used to express the reason or cause of something
RESULT -------> CAUSE
EX: We stopped playing tennis BECAUSE it started to rain
Ø BUT and HOWEVER can contrast ideas, but they are used different.
Ex: I learn French easily, but I didn’t like my teacher.

Ø AND is used to add extra information.
Ex: He will leave at eight and arrive at nine.
